PTO Meeting Tonight 10/6

We wanted to take a moment to remind families that this evening (Thursday, October 6th) the PTO will be holding their monthly meeting at 6:30pm in the SATEC Library.

Teacher Inservice Day October 7th

We wanted to remind families that this Friday (October 7th) is a scheduled teacher inservice day. Classes will not be in session for students. Classes will resume on on Monday, October 10th. We hope that everyone gets a chance to enjoy what looks to be shaping up into a beautiful weekend.

Parent Conference Schedules

Once again this year we will be launching our online parent conference scheduling program. The program that we use is called Pick a Time and will allow families to schedule their conferences online. Please look for this information to come home on Wednesday, October 5th. We will be posting a link to the Pick a Time website on our home site (www.satecvt.org) along with the directions for both returning and new users.

2011 NECAP Testing Schedule

NECAP Testing will begin on October 3rd for some grade levels. Students at grades 3-8 will be testing from October 3rd - October 14th. Below you will find the specific schedule by grade level. Please encourage your children to do their best work on these tests and help them get plenty of rest during their testing window and have a well balanced breakfast. Thank you for supporting your children during this testing window.

Open House Nights 9/21 and 9/22

We have had a great start to the school year!  We would like to invite parents and students to our Open House Nights in September to meet teachers and hear about classroom learning activities and expectations. The K-4 and 5^th grade Branon/Ely Open House will be held on Wednesday, September 21^st  from 6:00-7:30pm and the 6-8 and 5^th grade Gleim/Giles Open House will be held on Thursday, September 22^nd from 6:00-7:30pm.     Odyssey of the Mind will be hosting a spaghetti dinner fundraiser each evening of the Open House in the event that families would like to eat together before visiting the Open House activities. The proceeds will benefit the SATEC Odyssey of the Mind Program.  We hope you will be able to join us.
